Delivering to reception site

I am doing my first wedding cake in couple weeks. It is a four tier and made of buttercream. The reception site is inside and air conditioned.

The cocktail hour starts at 5pm and I was planning on delivering the cake around 4:00 - 4:30pm. The cake cutting will happen around 6:45pm. Is that too long to sit out in terms of melting?

That should be fine. We usually deliver during the ceremony. And if the reception site is inside and air conditioned, it should be more than fine.
